Returning Students
Study Abroad Programs are life-altering. We hope that you have had an exceptional overseas experience and that you will capitalize on this powerful experience by continuing to interact in study abroad related activities:
Join the International Exchange Club
The International Exchange Club is a social networking group for students who have studied abroad with UCLA and for international students who have studied at UCLA.
Participate in International Education Office activities
As an EAP returnee, you are among our greatest assets and we value your experience. We recognize that study abroad is a remarkable experience, one in which you will want to discuss and continue to learn from others who have had similar experiences.
- Your current, relevant knowledge of your host country and program is an invaluable resource for UCLA students planning to study abroad. We hope you will be willing to participate in the EAP orientations relevant to the country in which you studied and/or permit us to use you as a reference for perspective students.
- We invite you to join us at the “Welcome Back” reception. At these events you can network with other students who have studied abroad or are visiting UCLA from countries in which you may have traveled. Be sure to watch for the invitation we will e-mail you.
- Share your stories and photos with us. Staff members select student articles and photos for use on our website, in our newsletters and promotional materials. You might even win a cash prize in our Study Abroad Photo Contest.
Apply through Work Study to assist in the International Education Office
The International Education Office hires students with Work Study assistance. If you are eligible for Work Study, send a resume with a cover letter to the International Education Office. We value our student workers and consider them part of the team.
