All courses are 4 quarter units each.
Required Courses:
Classics 144: Greek Cities and Sanctuaries
Classics M170: Power and Imangination in Byzantium
Greek 8: Modern Conversational Greek
Classics 144: This course will concentrate on the monuments and topography of ancient Greece from the prehistoric period through late antiquity. Prerequisites: Classics 10, 30 or 51A, History 1A or Human 2A or equivalent.
Greek 8: A 10-week intensive introduction to spoken modern Greek.

Classics 144 must be taken for a letter grade. Greek 8 may be taken for P/NP or a letter grade.
