I just spent the past spring semester as an exchange student in Sydney, Australia and it was such an incredible experience.  The highlights of my six months as an Australian included scuba-diving in the Great Barrier Reef, bungee-jumping in Queensland, sailing around the Whit Sunday Islands, and learning to surf with my new friends at the university.  Studying abroad teaches you so much about yourself while offering you the ideal opportunity to fall in love with the world around you.  Please feel free to stop by so we can talk more about it!

Office Hours: Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

I traveled abroad during the Summer of 2009 to Granada, Spain through International Studies Abroad (ISA).Throughout high school I had taken Spanish and I knew that I wanted to practice and improve my Spanish wherever I studied abroad. I stayed with a host family that I loved, took three classes taught in Spanish, traveled to other parts of Spain, and made friends with students from other Universities.  Granada is small but has a big city feel, is safe, and is very welcoming and friendly.

I spent an incredible year abroad in Lyon, France this past academic year. A true francophile, I had also participated in a travel study program in Paris: French Language and Culture, in 2007. Though it's hard to summarize my whole experience, I can say that it changed my life and sparked an interest in learning about the rest of the global community. I think every student deserves a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to travel and study abroad! On y va!

While in Brazil I also traveled to Peru, Argentina, and Uruguay.  Spending a year abroad was one of the best experiences of my life and I am always looking for opportuniities to share my stories. So, please stop by!

I'm a fourth-year Global Studies major, double-minoring in English and Asian Languages. I went on two travel study programs: Shakespeare in Stratford-Upon-Avon and London in 2008 and Global Studies in Shanghai, China in 2009. What I loved the most about the Shakespeare program was watching plays performed in the Global Theater and by the renowned Royal Shakespeare Company. My favorite part about the Global Studies program was planning our trip to Hangzhou with my friends over a long weekend.

An exchange student from Fudan University, I am now a junior at UCLA. My hometown is Xi'an, famous for the Terra Cotta Warriors, though I’ve lived all over China, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. I've also visited most of the regions in China from Tibet in the west to Hong Kong in the south. I like traveling a lot, so when I first saw the EAP program in my home university, I started my application. It’s been a long journey to get to UCLA, both literally and metaphorically, but it's worth it. After all, this is the only time in life when we have all the passion, time, and support to explore the world.
