Jorge Paulo Lemann Scholarship and Fellowship Fund
The UCLA International Institute is pleased to announce the Jorge Paulo Lemann Scholarship and Fellowship Fund which will provide a limited number of scholarships for UCLA students to study in Brazil. Award amounts will range from $1,500 - $4,500, depending upon length of study and financial need. The Lemann Scholarships are designed for UCLA students from any academic background.
Application Criteria
- Applicants must be attending a UCLA Travel Study Program, a UC Education Abroad Program (Rio de Janeiro or Salvador), or UCLA’s reciprocity program with the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (Florianópolis);
- Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA at the time of application;
- Applicants should be U.S. residents;
- Applicants must be financial aid recipients at UCLA.
Please note these scholarships will be awarded through a competitive application process. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate the experience of studying abroad in Brazil will have great impact both academically and personally.
Application Deadlines
March 31, 2013 - for students attending programs beginning in summer or fall 2013
November 2, 2013 - for students attending programs beginning in winter or spring 2014

Applications will be reviewed by the Lemann Scholarship Faculty Committee.
